An Analysis of Cloze Design in High School on the Basis of Validity

Cloze tests, introduced by W.L.Taylor in 1953, is a quick, economical method of measuring overall language proficiency. Cloze test considered to be an indispensable part of College Entrance Examination. Therefore it is necessary to do some research on how to better design and assess the validity of a cloze test by reader’s readability of texts in high school.
