| 摘 要： | 词汇习得是二语习得的中心任务,因此词汇教学至关重要,尤其是对以课堂教学为主的中国大学英语教学来说。时下流行的词汇习得方法纷繁,而传统翻译法作为外语教学中历史最为悠久的教学法却一直被边缘,被摒弃。该文通过实证证明了传统翻译法在其实验班的有效性和价值。

| Abstract: | Vocabulary acquisition is central to second language acquisition and is of critical importance to the enhancement of learners’language proficiency,hence,in China,vocabulary teaching is essential to English Teaching relying on Classroom Teaching.Many methods of vocabulary acquisition such as Communicative Method are offered,whereas the old traditional Grammar-translation method has been marginalized,even abandoned.This article,by experiment,tries to prove the validity and value of the traditional Grammar-translation method. |
