| Abstract: | This paper discusses Zhang Xueliang's foreign relations in the Northeast and holds that no matter what he did against Japan and Russia or for being on intimate terms with some west countries, Zhang's attitude and policy never deviated from his final aim, or his patriotisom to safeguard the territorial integrity and unity of his country. |
