小型可比语料库的研制及其在翻译中的应用

自20世纪90年代以来的语料库翻译研究,以翻译平行文本语料库为对象,主要关注词句层面的分析,缺少对语篇整体结构的关注,对译者的翻译实践指导有限。研制以翻译为导向的、能够体现语篇宏观结构和微观语言特点的小型双语可比语料库,并以体裁分析理论为基础进行语料选择和语料标注可以更好地为翻译实践和教学提供理论和方法上的参照。

Design of Small Comparable Corpus and its Use in Translation

Since 1990’s,corpus linguistics has been applied to translation studies,contributing a lot to both translation theories and translation practice.However,most corpus-based translation studies,taking parallel corpus as their object,are confined to the analysis of words and grammatical pattern of the target text,while the macro textual structure of the text is scarcely mentioned.Therefore,it is necessary to build up translation oriented bilingual corpus of original English & Chinese texts,with consideration of both the schematic structure and micro linguistic features of texts.Such corpus that is made based on the theory of genre analysis in terms of text selection and annotation may provide effective reference for the practice of pragmatic translation practice.
