远东审判的合法性、正义性及对未来的启迪

60年前开庭的远东审判是文明对野蛮的严正审判。在持续3年的审判中,尽管波澜起伏,最终正义战胜邪恶,战争罪犯得到了应有的惩罚。然而,远东审判在惩处日本战争罪犯和消灭军国主义势力上是不彻底的,最大的遗憾是没有追究天皇裕仁的战争责任。国际社会对日本发动的侵略战争性质,早有明确的结论,远东国际军事法庭的审判是公正的审判。

The Legality and Justice of the Trials by the Far East International Military Tribunal and Their Prospective Enlightenments

The trials started 60 years ago by the Far East International Military Tribunal (FEIMT) were solemn and just trials in which civilization combated barbarism. During the three - year long trials, despite unexpected events billowing one after another, justice triumphed over wickedness, and the war criminals were deservedly punished in the end. By applying their profound legal knowledge and by adopting resolute combat strategies, the Chinese procurators fought a verbal battle with the Japanese arch criminals who invaded China, thus successfully accomplishing their mission. However, these trials were not radical or thorough trials in view of the fact that not all the war criminals got what they deserved, and that the power of the Japanese militarism was not totally wiped out. What was most regrettable was that no action was taken to hold Yuren responsible for the aggressive war, the emperor (Mikado) of Japan at that time. It was a long time ago that the international community arrived at the absolutely definite conclusion about the nature of the aggressive war launched by Japan. And the trials conducted by FEIMT were undoubtedly just and fair trials.
