摘    要:和谐社会对教育的本质要求是,坚持教育优先发展,构建和谐教育体系,大力促进教育公平,全面推进素质教育,实现人的全面发展。要解决好教育发展面临的矛盾和难点,包括择校问题、高考改革问题、贫困生问题、农民工子女入学问题、乱收费问题、投入问题,等等。而解决好这些问题,必须处理好普及与提高、职业教育与普通教育、数量与质量、发展与改革等关系。

Abstract:The essential demands of harmonious society to education are: insisting on giving priority to educational development,constructing the system of harmonious education,promoting the fair education,carring the quality education comprehensively,achieving people's entire development.The contradictories and difficult points of educational development conclude: the prob-lem of selecting schools,the problem of the reformation of college entrance examinations,the problem of the needy students,the problem of the entrance of former's and worker's children,the problem of illegal fees,the problem of investing,etc.We must deal well with the relationships between,popularize and develop,occupational education and normal education,quantity and quality,develop and reform,etc,to solve these problems.
