对中西方航海活动结果不同的理性思考

15-16世纪初,中西方都进行了大规模的航海活动,但产生的结果却大相径庭:中国的航海活动由于耗资巨大,没有实际效果,后被当作“弊政”革除;而西方的航海活动却发现了“新大陆”,促进了世界贸易的发展,并为科学研究提供了第一手资料。为什么同是航海活动却会产生如此明显不同的结果呢?这主要是由于,与西方人不同,中国人没有“地是球”的观念,没有征服异族的思想,对自然现象的研究也仅限于实用目的。

Rational Think for the Different Result of Navigation between China and the West

At the beginning of the 15th and 16th century,the West and the East both did extensive navigation activities,but the results were far from each other.Having cost a huge amount of money without any effects,Chinese navigation activity was buried as a "failure policy".The finding of the "new land" by westerners had promoted the development of the world trade,and provided the first hand scientific research information.Why were there so many differences in the same activity? Unlike westerners,Chinese people did not have the concept that "the earth is round",and the theme to conquer different races.Its purpose for research on nature appearance was only used on practice.
