| 摘 要： | 在《古代的地理学》和《禹贡》中，中西方学者在对已知世界整体认识的基础上，都承认地理要素及其结合在空间分布上存在着差异性，可以形成不同的区域，但在同一区域中又存在着相对的统一性，并且对各区域的划分也遵循一定的方法。中西古代区域地理思想的差异主要表现在对已知世界的认识、区域划分层次、区域描述的原则、区域记载的内容等方面。造成差异的原因各不相同。

| Abstract: | The Ancient Geography compiled by Soviet geographer Podnarskkie mainly introduces recordation of geography discussed by many ancient Greek and Roman writers. This paper compares and contrasts the concepts of regional geography held by the ancient Chinese scholars and those by the ancient western scholars. |
