个性化教学就是实际意义上的“因材施教”,是指在个人自身务件的基础上最大程度地发掘学生的潜力,促进学生的发展．个性化英语教学是现代教育教学的必然,是实施素质教育的需要。符合新的《国家英语课程标准》的要求,教师应全面地了解和掌握学生在生理发展和心理特征等方面的差异。以及他们的智慧、兴趣、需求和风格等差异,在英语教学过程中,制定差异性目标,满足学生的不同需求：进行个性化的教学,营造民主和谐的教学氛围。采用个性化的多元教学模式。开发个性发展的潜能．促进不同学生的个性发展;实施个性化的评价,最大限度地为学生提供个性发展的空间和时间,建立他们个人学习的成就感和自信心,

On the Implementation of Individualized English Teaching

Individualized teaching means" teaching students in accordance with their aptitude " in the actual meaning, exploring students' potentiality to the greatest extent on the basis of personal one's own condition, and promoting the development of students. Individualized English teaching is the necessity of modem education teaching, and a need of implementing quality-oriented education, individualized English teaching accords with the demands for the new " course standard of national English ". Teachers should understand and grasp student's differences in physiological development and psychological characteristics ,etc. in an all-round way , and such differences as their intelligence , interest, demand and style .etc. In the course of English teaching , it is necessary to make the difference goal, meet students' different demands; carry on individualized teaching, build the teaching atmosphere with harmonious democracy, adopt the individualized plural teaching mode, develop the latent energy of individual character development, bring about an advance in different students' individual character; implement individualized appraisal, offer the space and time of individual character development to student to the maximum extent, and set up the fulfillment and self-confidence of their personal study.
