| 摘 要： | 中法战争开启了龙州城近代化之旅。对外开放是龙州城近代化的主要动力，粤商缔造了龙州城近代市场，地方政府出于国防安全考虑也积极推进龙州城近代化建设和发展。梳理近代龙州城兴衰这段历史，有助于帮助我们对加强世界横向交往在区域经济发展和交通变革作用的思考和再认识。

| Abstract: | The modernization of Longzhou city began soon after the war between China and France in Qing dynasty and opening to the international trade was its major motivation. Guangdong businessmen found the modern market in Longzhou and the local government also took active measures to promote the city construction and development in the consideration of national defense. The investigation on the history of the rise and fall of Longzhou city in modern time contributes to the deeper understanding and reflection of the revolutionary role of international exchange in the regional economic development and transportation. |
