The Latest Progress in the Study of Creativity: the Effect of Multicultural Experience on Creativity

The research of multicultural experience affecting creativity is the new development of creativity and cultural psychology.It not only helps us improve the creativity,but also has the important value for cultural psychology.This article reviews the methods and psychological mechanism of multicultural experience enhancing creativity research.Among them,adaptation of the exotic culture,learning foreign culture and the receptiveness to ideas originated from foreign culture are the important psychological mechanisms.Future studies can be used longitudinal,qualitative methods,neuro-physiological indices and other means for the related issues of the multicultural experience enhancing creativity to research and explore further.
