The Original Lushen Shape in Female Images of Chinese Literature

Lushen ( a goddess in Chinese myth) was a symbol of feeling and desire. Her shape originated in the primitive religious sense, female phallicism, and philosophical conception of yin and yang. When tracing back to this original shape, male and female writers tend to show their sexual differences respectively. When male writers describe her, they clear up female subjectivity and independent character in emotion. Female writers think highly of the impulse of female primitive vitality and return female instincts to their original shapes.
