| 摘 要： | 随着全球化进程的推进，公示语英译日益显示出其重要性。纽马克的交际翻译理论为公示语翻译提供了科学的理论基础，从该理论的指导来看，城市公示语英译中存在语言层面、语用层面和文化层面的误译等。对此，翻译者应采取积极认真的态度，提高城市公示语英译质量。

| Abstract: | With globalization, the English translation of public signs shows its importance. New Mark＇s communicative translation theory provides scientific theoretical foundation for public signs translation. With the theory, we can find mistakes in the present translation at linguistic level, pragmatic level, and cultural level. Therefore, translators should be cautious in dealing with the translation of urban public signs. |
