| Abstract: | Yu Dafu's early poems could be classified into the following three categories according to their content and ideas. The first is recalling of antiquity, in which he commented on historical characters and events. The second is using the past to disparage the present, in which he expressed his sentimentality and patriotism. The third is expressing emotions through sceneries, in which he enlogized the scenic beauty of hometown. |
