高等学校校史起始期问题浅议

近些年,高等学校修撰校史蔚成风气,但由于中国高等教育制度不独立等缘故,高等学校兴修的校史在起始年代确定上,存在着将中等性质的教育机构的创办年月定为大学校史的起始期;在许多非高等教育性质的前身中,选取创办最早的一个作为校史的起始期;纯以"革命性"或"新型性"的新型大学整合日期为大学校史的起始期等问题,影响高校校史的科学性。高校校史起始期确定要坚持如实按开办时间确定校史的起始期,以前身高等教育机构创办时间为校史起始期,中等教育机构中如果有高等教育的因子,则要以此高等教育因子创立期作为校史的起始期等原则。

On the starting date of the university chronology

Whereas it is a fashion that universities compose their own chronologies,they are confronted with the uncertain date of start due to the developmental factors and different educational systems in history.Universities tend to stretch themselves longer in the past on the basis of the so-called revolutionary merges,in the process of which the start date of the earliest school,regardless of the secondary or advanced nature,is taken for initial founder of the current combinatory universities.This is contrary to the principle of authenticity or science.
