On the Rapid Development of Chinese Universities: A Review of the Summit Forum on the Development and Organizational Reform of University

The Summit forum on the Development and Organizational Reform of University was held on the eve of the publication of the National Outline for Medium and Long Term Educational Reform and Development (2010-2020).The forum focuses on the establishment of modern university system with Chinese characteristics, based on the logic of university itself and the institutional environment in China.The following topics are addressed in the forum: the development of university disciplinary organization, the approaches to the organizational reform of university, the administrativization of university and the improvement of governance structure in university.
