On New Developments in Russian International Education in the Situation of Globalization and Internationalization

Globalization and internationalization are having significant influences on higher education in the world. They are affecting the roles of universities in the society, and have implications that the mobility of educated professionals is proceeding on a global basis. With the trends of integration of world economies and the development of science and technology, higher education in Russia is becoming more and more globalized. This paper analyzes the mobility of educated professionals across the world and reveals new trends of Russian higher education in the new situation of globalization and internalization.
