下学上达,文质相宜

本文从面向21世纪的需要出发,继承与发展我国优秀的教育传统,思考我国高等教育发展中的有关素质教育问题.首先,简扼地概述了“下学上达”与“文质相宜”,提出了我国工科高等教育发展中的有关素质问题.其次,探讨了知识如何转化为能力、素质,展开了对岳麓书院的“博于问学,明于睿思,笃于务实,志于成人”这一教育传统所表达的学习、思考、实践三者在成就人才中的作用的讨论.最后,提出了从自然科学、工程技术、人文社会科学中的下学上达,从哪些方面将学习与实践中所感知的形而下的东西抽象为形而上的东西,将知识转化为素质.

On Perfect Conversion of Knowledge to Quality

Quality education has now become the No. i problem China education is facing. In view of the requirement of the 21st Century,and inheritance and development of China's fine educational tradition,the paper presents the problem of guality cultivation in the development of china's higher education of science and technology, then discusses the conversion of knowledge to capability and quality. In conclusion, the paper demonstrates several ways in which we should try to "abstract" and convert what we learn in practice to theory, to transform knowledge to quality.
