| 摘 要： | 人物引语是英文小说的重要组成部分。间接引语是引语的主要类型,在英文小说中发挥着主要功能,能够加强读者对小说中人物的感情、使语义密度得到加强并且表达出诙谐或者讽刺的效果。英文小说的翻译者必须对小说中的其它引语和自由间接引语进行分析,使英文小说的审美效果和主题意义得到充分的表达。

| Abstract: | The figure speech is an important part of the English novel.Indirect speech is the main type of speech,plays the main function in English novels,can strengthen the feelings of readers to the characters in the novel,make the semantic density enhanced and express the humorous or satirical effect.English fiction translators must analyze the other speech and free indirect speech in the novels,making the aesthetic effect and the theme of English novel to be fully expressed. |
