华侨在"一·二八"事变中的作用

抗日战争前后,广大华侨与祖国人民一起投入抗日救亡运动,为民族解放做出了不可磨灭的贡献。特别是在蒋光鼐、蔡廷锴等人领导的一.二八事变中,华侨从言论、物质上大力支持十九路军抗日,有力地打击了国民党不抵抗主义和“攘外必先安内”的政策,成为推动日后国共合作的一股强大力量。

The Role of Overseas Chinese in Jan. 28th Incident

Around the beginning of the War against Japanese invasion, the masses of overseas Chinese together with the native Chinese plunged into the national salvation movement and made indelible contributions to the Chinese national liberation. In the Jan. 28~(th) incident in 1932 led by Jiang Guangnai and Cai Tingkai, the overseas Chinese gave great support to the 19~(th) Army in public opinion and materials and dealt a strong blow to the Guomintang's non-resistance policy and the "pacify the interior before resist foreign aggression' policy. They became a great force in promoting the later Guomintang-Communists cooperation.
