孙传芳经营江浙论略

孙传芳作为北洋军阀的后起之秀,以其机警狡诈,合纵联横,终于成为称霸东南五省的新直系首领。孙传芳在经营江浙期间,采取了一些顺应民心、安抚民众、推行民治的政治经济措施,既安定了社会秩序,又对本地区经济的恢复和发展有所裨益。但作为封建军阀,孙传芳思想保守僵化,自私狭隘,又缺乏军事远见和谋略,故难免出现联军内部矛盾重重、分崩离析的局面,更难抵挡北伐军锐利的攻势。其苦心经营年余的江浙地盘也最终尽数失去。

On Sun Chuanfang''''s Ruling in Jiangzhe

As a promising young man in Beiyang warlords, Sun Chuanfang becomes the leader of New Zhi-xi warlords of the five provinces in southeastern China because of his guile and united various forces. During the period of his rule in Jiangzhe, he adopts democratic polical and economic policies, promoting the development of society and economy. However, Sun Chuanfang, as a feudal warlord, he is conservative and parochial, selfish and narrow, and lack of military foresight and strategy. In the end, Jiangzhe area which he has ruled for several years is out of control because of the inner conflicts in his army and the attack of the Northern Expedition.
