| Abstract: | The study on the development of Montesquieu's China outlook concludes that Putian native Huang Jialue not only aroused the interest that Montesquieu showed to the study of China, but also affected Montesquieu's China outlook very much, especially his many specific viewpoints; he contributed a lot to the Sino-French cultural exchange in the 18th century. |
