基于全球模式输出的区域中期数值预报试验

摘    要:在2003年3月至5月间,基于MRF全球谱模式提供的侧边界,采用MM5有限区域嵌套模式进行预报时效为15天的较高分辨率的区域中期预报试验,并对试验结果进行检验。结果表明:嵌套的区域模式的中期天气预报明显的优于全球模式,对于两周内主要的晴雨过程、冷空气和转折性天气具有一定的预报能力。

Abstract:A numerical experiment of high resolution regional mid-range weather fo recast which can forecast fifteen days is successfully conducted during March and May 2003 by use of a limited-regional model-mm5,one-way nested in the MRF global spectral model,which provide lateral boundary condition.To assess the fore cast products,statistical verification is performed.The results show that: the forecast by nested regional model is better than 1by the global spectral model. It can simulate the main process of precipitation,the main turn of weather and cold air in two weeks.
