印欧语言起源研究之旧石器连续范式

印欧语言起源研究的旧石器连续范式发端于20世纪90年代，但尚未被国际主流学术界广泛接纳，其发展历程、理论假设、历史重构及理论目标尚不为国内学界了解。它摒弃了传统理论中的“突变论”“欧洲中心主义”和“种族主义”，修正了传统理论对达尔文进化论的误解，继承并发展了“乌拉尔连续理论”，提出了关于语言变化、词汇历史分期方法、语言边界与考古边界的关系等方面的新观点，值得借鉴和推广。

On the Paleolithic Continuity Paradigm for the Origins of Indo-European Languages

The Paleolithic Continuity Paradigm for the origins of Indo-European languages dated back to 1990s, but it has not been widely accepted by the international academic community for different reasons. And the Chinese academic community is also unfamiliar with its progress, hypotheses, historical reconstruction and objectives. It overthrew the Catastrophism, Eurocentrisrn, and Racism in the previous IE theories, removed misinterpretations of Darwinism in the linguistic circle, inherited and developed the Uralic Continuity Theory, and presented seminal viewpoints on the nature of changes in language, ways of lexical periodicalization and the relationship between linguistic frontiers and archaeological frontiers. Therefore, it deserves to be popularized as a new paradigm for origins of Indo- European languages and a prospective general framework applicable to all domains that find a direct or indirect expression in language.
