庵埠太和善堂的发展与思考

太和善堂是庵埠五大善堂之一。该善堂于1901年由当地士绅创立,解放后停办,1984年重建至今。通过考察太和善堂的成立以及发展可以发现,这一传统慈善机构在历经百年风雨后仍然屹立不倒,不能忽略的就是宗教信仰与乡土情结的积极作用,还有与官方若即若离的关系,以及通过公开透明的财务制度建立起来的良好信誉。今天,太和善堂面临新的挑战,应当吸取其已有的积极因素,调整运作模式,以适应现代社会的发展。

The Development and Reflection of Taihe Charitable House

Taihe Charitable House was one of the five major Charities in Anbu Town. It was founded in 1901 by the local gentry. After liberation, the activities of Taihe Charitable House discontinued, and did not re- vive until 1984. Through an investigation of the House, we find out the following reasons leading to its success： the religious belief and the native people＇ s love of hometown, the appropriate relations with officials, and the good reputation established through transparent and good attitude in the charitable history process. Nowadays, facing new challenges, Taihe Charitable House should learn from the positive factors and adjust its operating mode to adapt to the development of the modern society.
