王韬“事夷”对西学翻译的影响

The Influence of Wang Tao ＂Working for Barbarians＂ on The Chinese Translation of Western Learning

In the 19th century, confronted with the conflicts between Chinese and western culture, Chinese intellects＇internal and external promote the translation of western learning. Wang Tao＇s entanglements with Mo Hal Shu Guan （London Missionary Society Mission Press） conforms to the prevailing contradictions and helplessness among those crumbling men of letters in the society.
