| 摘 要： | Ancient Roman Cult of Dionysus,Wall Paintings and Perspectives It would be false to say that our modern-day society does not place a great emphasis on outwardly physical appearance. This includes things like the way individuals portray themselves and the way we decorate the interior and exterior of our homes. Interestingly enough, ancient Roman society also valued outwardly appearance and places an emphasis on the different ranks in society. Many times, the grandeur and lavishness of one's clothes and home indicated one's status in society.
