批评者眼中的译者

本文以隋代释彦琮和近现代著名人物及其所论述的译者为主例,尝试用解构的方法简单探讨了翻译理论中两对主客体范畴结构消解问题。认为主客体并非截然分离,双方界限常常消解,双方相互影响;客体是主体的映射,而翻译客体标准对译者主体也产生影响。隋代高僧彦琮提出的＂八备＂是中国最早关于译者的系统论述,为了更清楚地认识隋代批评者眼中译者的真面貌,支持本文的主题,笔者也比较详细地梳理了＂八备＂。

A Translator in the Perspective of the Critic

This paper has made a quite different conclusion from his counterparts on the basis of his restudies of Yan Cong（557-610）＇s ＂ba bei＂,the eight prerequisites for being a Buddhist sutra translator.In addition to the translator（object） in the perspective of Yan Cong as a critic（subject）,it has also case-studied other translator/critic binary pairs（dichotomies） such as the translator/Liang Qichao,the translator/Yu Dafu and the Translator/Yu Guangzhong.It has been discovered that all the translators（objects） here are projected by the critics themselves（subjects.） It seems that the categorical structure-subject/object is being deconstructed while the translator-translation,this subject-object is also exerting influences upon each other in the process of deconstruction.
