"僰人"三题

僰人并不是一种少数民族,而是自西周以来被发配到西南边疆的流放罪犯的后裔.明末清初,天下大乱,四川为祸甚烈,僰人为躲避祸乱,化整为零,从他们的聚居地散避出来,分布于现今的川南,黔北,滇东一带.悬棺葬是为了防止野兽掘坟啮尸的一种无可奈何的安葬方法.

Three Points of "boren"

boren is not a national minority but the offspring of the criminals sent into exhile to the southwestern border areas since West Zhou Dynasty. In the period between the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, disasters arose in Sichuan, boren broke up the whole into parts to avoide the disasters, distributed themselves from the areas they had lived to the areas now called south Sichuan, north Guizhoua and east Yunnan. Burial with suspending coffins is a helpless way to prevent the animals from eating the bodies.
