In Ching dynasty,the salt district of Guangdong was one of the important largest salt district in the whole country.The salt revenue is the important constituent part of the local government affair which was widely used to pay the official salaries,the military expenditure,the fare of suppressing smuggling,to counteract the debt of the stake,and to carry out the river construction,ect.Through studying the ditribution of the salt revenue in the local government affair,we can know the influence that the salt economy had on the local government affair.and even reveal the relationship of the salt industry and the lacal society in Guangdong in Ching dynasty.
