International Cooperation: A Booster for Developing Highlevel Research Bodies The Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS), a CAS research arm in biology, consists of the Institute Biochemistry and Cell Biology, the Institute of Neuroscience, the Institute of Materia Medica, the Institute of Physiology and Ecology, and the Institute for Nutritional Sciences. In response to the current trends of S&T globalization and the interdisciplinary development of the life sciences, it deems international cooperation amajor component of its effort to uplift the overall capacity of knowledge creation at SIBS. |
