国家的发展、科学的进步需要技术的创新，高校工科学生是国家未来科技发展的主力军，是技术创新的带头人，其创新能力决定了国家未来技术的创新能力。因此，高校要大力培养工科大学生的创新能力。首先，要营造良好的创新环境；其次，要加强对学生创新意识的培莽；同时应改革教学模式、教学评价方式，树立现代学生观，全方位地为工科大学生创新能力培养营造良好的氛围。
