由佚文谈章太炎与近现代佛教

章太炎寄给金陵刻经处的三封信作于1909年4、5月间。他对于杨仁山是以佛学前辈视之，并未曾拜师执弟子礼。章太炎《支那内学院缘起》作于1919。章太炎崇尚佛学，除了因“中遭忧患，而好治心之言”，还有《缘起》中所谓“修己治人，所补益博”的社会意义。而“与平生朴学相似，易于契机”，则是章太炎对法相唯识学感兴趣的原因。

On Zhang Taiyan and Contemporary Buddhism Based on His Lost Treatises

The three letters Zhang Taiyan sent to Jinling Block - printing House of Sutras were written between April and May of 1909. He treated Yang Renshan as a senior of Buddhism study, and did not go as far as entering into the ceremony of formally taking Yang as his teacher. Zhang's The Origin of China Buddhism Academy was writ-ten in 1919. His advocacy of Buddhism is out of personal reasons that he was suffering internal misfortunes and worries and therefore showed a preference for heart - curing words. It also has a social significance of what iscalled in his Origin of China Buddhism Academy--' cultivating yourself before managing the affairs of othersbrings about more benefits. ' And a ' similarity to my pursuit of textulism, thus the easy junction' is why Zhang shows an interest in Cittamatra.
