中国古代趋新派文变观中的时间之维——兼与现代进化论文学史观之比较

中国古代文变观中的趋新派认为，文学是不断发展进步的，由质而文是时代演变使然，时变而文亦变。因而特别强调艺术的创新，反对因循守旧，盲目崇古。趋新派文变观并不等同于现代进化论文学史观，趋新论虽有线性时间观，但同时还包含了丰富的时变思想，这与进化论所持的线性时间观有很大不同。

On the Time's Aspect of the Literary Variation View of the School Tending to Be New in Ancient China--And the Comparison with the Literary History View of the Modern Evolution's Theory

The school tending to be new of the literary variation view in Chinese ancient literary theory considers that literature is constantly developing and improving. It is the times' evolution that results in the evolution from simple to grace. Literature is changing with the lapse of time. So the school tending to be new particularly emphasizes on the artistic creativity and objects to following the beaten track and worshipping the ancients blindly. The literary variation of the school tending to be new isn't equal to the literary history view of the modern evolution's theory. Though it has the linear time view, the school tending to be new also contains abundant time variation view, which is much different from the linear time view of the evolution's theory.
