| 摘 要： | 《呼啸山庄》是爱米莉的代表作,在作品中,她刻画了希斯克利夫这样一个饱受苦难,忠于爱情的主人公形象。通过希斯克利夫的性格发展过程———从一味忍让到被逼反抗到最后的绝望,作者表明了她对社会的态度。希斯克利夫的悲惨境遇及他的忍受、他的失败,说明作者并不赞同对不平社会的妥协。作者用事实说明希斯克利夫的反抗是被迫的,是被压迫者对压迫者的反抗。对希斯克利夫的悲惨结局的安排则表现了她对现实社会的绝望,是她消极人生观的体现。

| Abstract: | Emily is one of novelist of critical realist.In her masterpiece,Wuthering Height,she created a hero,Heathcliff,who is a person tasting to the full bitterness of life,sincere to his love all his life.By the development of Heathcliff's character: from tolerance to revolt till final despair,Emily expressed her attitude towards society.Heathcliff's miserable condition,his tolerance and his failure reflected her disagreement to compromise towards injustice.Emily used facts to tell us: Heathcliff's revolt was force to.Heathcliff's tragedy showed that Emily was despair towards real society and her outlook on life was passive. |
