"Contention of a Hundred Schools of Thought" in the Warring States and "the May Fourth" New Culture Movement are two of the greatest and most glorious periods in the history of China.The former hewed out a route for ancient China and the latter initiated a path for modern China.Finding the similarities and differences of the route selections in the two different periods through comparative studies can make us take some valuable cues from the first selection,which is of great historical value and practical significance for us to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
