高职英语专业学生特点与教学改革

摘    要:高职学生基础较差,理论学习时间较短,专业与实践课程所占比例大,语言学习的效果不理想:另一方面,高职学生动手能力强,喜欢新奇,乐于表现,注重市场,也更强调语言的工具性。针对这些特点,在教学材料与手段的选择上,我们要坚持“整合、实用、简洁、生动”的原则,把语言学习和专业学习进行整合;在教学方法上,我们要坚持以学生为中心,以操练和交际表演为手段,以强化学习为指导思想来组织教学,以培养适合于市场需求的高职专门人才。

Abstract:Generally speaking, students of vocational English majors are more capable of trying their hands on different newthings and are eager to express themselves as well as doing the real performance rather than simply learning different theories andboring rules. To satisfy these we should try to integrate English training and professional training in the courses for Englishmajors in vocational college. Turning students into self-motivated individual and making the best use of their traits and character-istics is another important strategy. To create a mini-world of language learning also helps students a lot in merging into the worldof target language.
