| Abstract: | In his Selected Literary Theories over the Ages Guo Shaoyu questions Mr Huang Jigang on the annotation of one sentence in Wen Fu. The author of this paper has collected substantial reference materials by previous worthies and some research gains by Sinologists, and based on textual examination, comparison, and collation, comes up with a collateral proof for Mr Huang's terse and precise annotation. Guo's claim is in the meantime refuted. |
