An Analysis of Differences in Value Judgments of University Rankings

With the expansion of popularization of higher education, university rankings have appeared worldwide, as a major form of value judgments for higher education institutions in many countries. To some extent, rankings have certainly affected the strategies adopted by countries in the development of higher edu- cation. As different ranking institutions have different value judgments, differences in the indicators system will bring about different results of ranking.
