本体论原本是一个哲学概念,指关于存在及其本质和规律的学说,后被用于研究实体存在性和实体存在的本质等方面的通用理论。计算机界借用这个理论,把现实世界中某个领域抽象或概括成一组概念及概念间的关系,构造出这个领域的本体。因特网中的教学资源越来越受到关注,将本体引入到网络教学资源集成中核心问题之一是构建网络教学资源本体。
