| Abstract: | The Color Purple is the masterpiece of American black female writer Alice Walker.The novel reveals the process of gaining consciousness-raising,going for self-worth and ideal life by the black women from the double oppression of sexism and racism.This article experimentally explores and decodes the theme and deep meaning of the novel from the angle of clothing and colors-an angle specific of female literature. |
