简论抗日根据地开明士绅的教育贡献

开明士绅在促进抗日根据地教育事业发展的过程中起了积极作用 :他们一方面在经济上赞助和支持教育事业的发展 ,一方面为教育事业的发展积极献计献策。他们较好地继承了封建士绅热心地方教育事业的传统 ,又带有鲜明的抗日救国的时代特色 ,他们的贡献在抗日根据地教育发展史上应该占有一定地位。

On the contributions of enlightened gentry to the education of the Anti - Japanese Base Area

Enlightened gentry played an active role in the educational development of the Anti Japanese Base Area. On the one hand,they supported education by economic means On the other hand, they offered advice for educational development.They succeeded the tradition of feudal gentry's concerning themselves with local education and had obvious epochal characteristics of resisting Japanese agression and saving the country. Their contributions should have their place in the history of the educational development of the Anti Japanese Base Area.
