| Abstract: | This paper discusses the application situation and preparation methods of full-text databases,and then it reviews the technical advances of full-text searching from text match algorithms and text match hardwares.Finally,it indicates that the combination with hyper-text technology and the processing by the multimedia will be the research focus in the future. |
