| 摘 要： | 泥炭是成煤的第一阶段，属于一种年轻的、过渡型的煤．陕南勉县泥炭矿区位于秦岭南坡的勉县县城以北的丘陵区，在地质上呈现一个明显的西北斜带，就其地理位置可分为4个矿体，总括约5km2且具相当蕴藏深度，其中3个矿体整合一体，分布集中．矿样呈灰褐色或黄褐色，疏松易碎，韧性好，具滑腻感，含水量适中，植物残体清楚可辨．泥炭分解程度好，腐殖质含量高，矿质优良．鉴于陕西泥炭开发尚属空白，本研究通过对勉县泥炭资源分布状况的考察，旨在为开发泥炭源，分离提取腐肥等提供一些基本依据．
