| 摘 要： | 通过对海南五指山少数民族地区大学英语学习特点的研究，发现该地区的学生有不同于其他地区学生的认知特点。这些特点与他们的生活环境和当地文化密切相关。培养学生良好的认知策略和采取有效的教学模式是十分有益的。

| Abstract: | English teaching and Learning of the college students in Hainan Minority Regions has its own characteristics. The students have different learning methods in comparison with those of the students in other regions which have a close relationship with the local culture. Effective teaching approach and learning strategies will be beneficial to these students. |
