| Abstract: | The Wall Street Journal Formula embodies Kilgore's idea--to report financial news in prose.This paper discusses its writing method,structure,advantages and limitations,and analyizes its classic reporting examples.The paper also makes comparision between Wall Street Journal Formula and O bpyramid structure,and points out that this writing formula can also be applied in reporting of different subjects besides financial news. |
