| Abstract: | The influence of the returned students on the trend of thought in the Chinese literature can be divided ito the earlier and later periods, with 1917 as the demarcation. The earlier period is mainly translation and introduction of culture, science and technology, while the later period, with selective introduction of foreign literary theory and works, manifests the influence of foreign trend of thought in literature on their own creative writings. |
