| 摘 要： | 对英语词汇中存在较多的“音表意”现象进行了探究 ,不仅分析了拟声作为一种构词理据的各种表现形式 ,还借助于关联理论对拟声作了尝试性透视 ,得出了有关制约“拟声机制”之原则的结论。

| Abstract: | ln this thesis the authors probe into the rather close relation between "sound symbolism"and semantic content,which can be found quite easily among English words, not only analyzing the different forms of onomatopoeia as a kind of word-forming motivation,but also examining tentatively the origination of onomatopoeia resorting to relevance theory,and come to a conclusion that there exists some principle that restricts the "onomatopoeic mechanism". |
