| 摘 要： | 现代意义上的水彩画起源于英国工业革命之后．经过上百年的发展，已经形成了一个独立的画种，创造出了属于自己的美学特征。然而据史料记载水彩在诞生之初却并不具有独立的地位，而是由工业革命带来的地志调查、军事扩张与大陆旅行记录的产物。因此笔者主张将水彩艺术的诞生放回到英国工业革命对于艺术的影响这一原境中加以研究．从而厘清水彩艺术获得其独立性以及审美趣味界定的过程。

| Abstract: | ： The modern watercolor painting originated after industrial revolution. It has become an in- dependent painting after one hundred＇s year＇s development. According to historical documents watercolor painting didn＇t enjoy independence at the beginning. It was the by-product of geological survey, military expansion and travelogue during industrial revolution. The author of this paper thinks that we should re- search the origin of watercolor in the context of the influence that British industrial revolution had on arts. |
