| Abstract: | As the corresponding academic documents, the author birthplace of the Chinese modem folklore, the publication of Popular Ballads Weekly and activities by Beijing University echoed the May Fourth Movement. Based on the historical of this article holds that Popular Ballads Weekly is of great significance in being apart to the grassroots,opening a new chapter of the Chinese folklore, and cultivation a generation of folk culturists. |
